distance is a game about growing up that i am currently prototyping, playtesting, and iterating upon.
The game consists of two phases. In the first phase, players role-play hangouts together and then draw an imagined group photo of their time. Then in the second phase, players must roll dice to determine if they can join the hangout. During this phase they are not allowed to verbally communicate and must text or instant message each other.
I made this game to try and capture the feeling of growing away from your friends as you enter the adult world.
