Color Schemers

Color Schemers is the senior capstone project I worked on to finish up my B.A. at UCSC in 2020. I worked with a team of 7 other students to ship this game over the course of ~8 months. I served as a designer and I worked on SFX and production when needed.
As a designer, I focused on level design with the design lead, Max Cronce. We iterated on level designs and worked on making the game map works well with the player movement and the world shifting mechanic. I implemented the tile map in Unity. I also helped run our bi-weekly team check-ins/Scrums, manage paperwork, create the builds, test and tweak the SFX and music, test and tweak the physics for the players, run and document playtests (especially when COVID-19 disrupted our in-person meetings and playtests), and manage interdisciplinary communication.
